On Saturday, October 30th members of the International Bad Girls Club DC Chapter teamed up with friends and family to participate in a 5k walk with the American Cancer Society and raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. This was a celebration of survivorship, an occasion to express hope, and a shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. Our participation in the Making Strides event, allowed us the opportunity to work towards creating a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays - where breast cancer never steals another year from anyone’s life. This event promises to be an annual re-occurrence for the IBGC.
